Design Phase 2: Technical Design

Patterns
All patterns are developed by hand or in Optitex, a state of the art computer software program that is used world-wide.
Once final garments are approved, all corrections will be done within the program, and sent to the grader for size developement.
Graded files will be checked and approved and can then be sent to the cutting service or manufacturer of the clients choice.

Samples
The 1st samples are cut and sewn and presented to the client for approval.
This is the opportunity for the client to make any design changes and the patternmaker to make any fit corrections before the design is finalized.
The second sample is cut and sewn and presented to the client for final approval as the prototype sample.
Tech Packs
All pertinent data regarding the construction, fabic and components
are recorded in the tech pack along with detailed sewing instructions. The tech pack is presented to the client along with the final prototype sample and pattern file, and printed pattern .
